![]() The tray icon can be configured to show the condition of your hard drive. Both the color and font are customizable. It becomes red when the temperature is higher than 50%. It turns yellow when the temperature exceeds 43%. It is green when the temperature is below 43%. The color changes according to the temperature. Hard Disk Sentinel uses its icon in the tray to show your hard drive temperature. There are five kinds of alerts that you can customize, including failure prediction, low disk health below 50% or 25%, high temperature above 43% or 50%, new log entry addition, and low disk space. ![]() For instance, you can add your own sound for the alerts. ![]() Hard Disk Sentinel has options to configure the alerts. Or just let Hard Disk Sentinel sits on the system tray area until it pops up an alert. ![]() However, a non-technical user should just pay attention to the health and performance bars.
